The Platinum Carbon black fountain pen ink is different to the conventional inks by it being pigment-based as compared to the conventional dye-based inks. This lightfast, water-resistant is highly sought after by artists. It is preferred for ink-washing and mixed media works where you need to draw a line that needs to be washed over top. It's ideal for brush pens and fountain pens being used on paper where you need ink to dry on the surface instead of soaking in.
