Montblanc's John F. Kennedy Limited Edition 1917 celebrates one of the great passions of the revered former president's life: maritime navigation. The John F. Kennedy Limited Edition 1917 makes allusion to this, from the 'rigging' finish under the lacquer of the body and cap, to the lifesaver of JFK's sailboat, Victura, engraved on the 18K gold nib. The naval star on the cone represents Kennedy's career in the U.S. Navy, as do the colors of the American flag. Engraving on the cap ring is inspired by Kennedy's campaign slogan for the presidency, "A time for greatness". Limited to 1,917 pieces - the year of JFK's birth.
