The Liliput Hummingbird flies gracefully across the paper, just like its namesake. It's one of our smallest writing instruments, but its color is no less impressive than the tiny bird: the stainless steel casing is reminiscent of the iridescent, colorful plumage of various hummingbird species. They owe their vibrant colors to the special structure of their feathers, which reflect incoming light through the phenomenon of interference. Inspired by this play of colors, the Kaweco Liliput Hummingbird receives its metallic sheen from a particularly durable PVD coating. This process, with its variable color distribution, makes each pen unique.

Decorate yourself with this feather

This exotic fountain pen is rounded off by a laser-treated nib, shimmering in rainbow colors. Perfect for soaking up the sweet nectar of Kaweco inks. For the perfect summer feeling, the writing instrument comes with a Summer Purple ink cartridge.

Care instructions: If the pen is not used for a long period of time, the nib should be cleaned of ink, as this can attack the color of the nib when it dries out.

Small but mighty

It is not for nothing that we took the smallest bird as our role model: our Liliput Kolibri fountain pen measures just 9.7 cm when closed and weighs just 20 g, but grows to a size of 12.4 cm with the cap screwed on.
