By incorporating the push button mechanism into the Tipo's clip, Lamy has engineered a clever safety system to ensure that the tip can never extend and cause ink stains when the pen is in your pocket: When the clip is pushed down, it hooks into a slot on the pen body. As soon as the clip is unhooked so that it can be slid onto a pocket, the tip retracts automatically! This special edition pen features an aluminum barrel with a coffee brown finish.
