Fisher Space Pen rose to prominence when founder Paul Fisher invented a retractable, pressurized pen called the Anti-Gravity 7 (#AG7) that worked flawlessly in zero gravity aboard the first manned Apollo mission in 1968. Five decades later the company continues to thrive with pens still flown aboard every manned space flight.
The Fisher ballpoint pens uses the Space Pen Pressurised refill which generally writes approximately 4.5km depending on writing style and is 3 ½ times longer than a typical ballpoint refill.
It can also write in space, underwater and upside down.
This Series of Fisher Space Pens is small, sleek, and stylish. It makes a great gift for the "Gal on the go!". Measuring only 4 1/4" (10cm) long when closed. The cap comes off and fits on the top of the pen to create a full size, well-weighted and balanced pen.
