The Pilot Justus 95 features an innovative adjustable fine 14k gold nib that allows the user to make the writing point softer ("S", or soft/semi-flex) or more stiff ("H", or hard) simply by turning the tension adjuster at the top of the gripping section.

A setting to "H" for hard should allow for the smoothest possible writing,

While "S" for soft will provide for line-width variation by providing a more flexible point. With a full range of settings to choose from, the user can decide on the setting which works best for the task at hand.
