Made using traditional Japanese iron gall formula, the Platinum Classic inks have great water resistance properties. This is a good ink for use on documents like agreements and contracts etc. that demand archival qualities. The iron in this ink oxidises over time to transform into sophisticated off-black colour. The colour of the ink darkens within 24 hours or even within an hour from writing. The "Classic Ink" is recommended to those who enjoy the process of the ink changing its colour from a bright shade of the dye colour to an off-black colour.
